The following is a statement from Salem Mayor Kimberley Driscoll, a spokesperson for the Coalition for Jobs and Growth:

“As we are faced today with an urgent need for new job creation, for a boost to our tourism industry, and for new state revenues, we applaud Speaker DeLeo’s initiative. We look forward to working with policy makers in the weeks ahead to support legislation that will provide our state with the new jobs and the added revenue that will come with allowing entertainment and gaming complexes.”
